Sarah + CJ {Fort Worth Wedding}

Just in case you haven't heard, tomorrow we've got an exciting giveaway for our
favorite Lowcountry Wedding Vendors...so don't miss it!

Today's wedding was captured by David Lunt Photography at the Marty Leonard Chapel in Fort Worth, Texas.  In case you've never been, Fort Worth is a pretty awesome city.  It's got that Southern ease mixed with a Western Charm which is exactly why Sarah + CJ had to travel all the way from Kentucky just to tie the knot in this fabulous Texas city.  Since having a destination wedding meant that some of their guests would be unable to make the trip, Sarah asked they donate a broach to her which she then made into her beautiful bouquet.  Sarah + CJ let their personalities shine through in their retro chic wedding.  Sarah looked ah-mazing in her Marilyn Monroe-esque gown, fab red shoes and gorgeous birdcage veil while CJ stayed true to himself by sporting a pair of black Chuck Taylors.

Meagan + Shaun {Texas Engagement}

I hope everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable Thanksgiving!  Sorry we were MIA for a few days, between traveling, eating and shopping a quick vacay was necessary.

Today's bride Meagan is a small town Southern girl from Brady, Texas.  Not only is she stylish (she's a stylish for Stella & Dot) and beautiful (can I have her hair?) but she's also a foodie (she's the brains behind Zesty Bite) and a runner (marathoner, that is!)...so, it's no surprise Shaun is head over heels for her!   This past Spring, the couple met up with the talented Shuffield Photography in Meagan's hometown for their flawless engagement session.

Heather + Kolby {Fort Worth Wedding}

Last December, my husband's cousin was tying the knot in Fort Worth, Texas.
It was my first trip EVER to the Lonestar State and I couldn't have had a better time.  Fort Worth is such a cool, clean city.  It's got a great mix of Western heritage, fabulous shopping and a lively bar scene (Pete's Dueling Piano Bar, anyone?)  All and all, I would highly recommend a trip if you haven't already been.  So, needless today say, I was pretty excited when Lyncca Harvey sent over Heather + Kolby's Fort Worth Wedding.  The couple wed this past summer at the gorgeous Fort Worth YWCA where they treated their guests to a little Texas cuisine, some kickin' tunes and a seriously good time!

You think their guests enjoyed the wedding!?!

Patricia + Josh {Galveston, Texas Engagement}

I know everyone says that on your wedding day it's all about you but it's not...and I don't
necessarily think it should be.  It's about you, your hubby-to-be and your families.  It's about
celebrating bringing two families together and also making your own.  That's why I love when
couples incorporate their kids (or pets!) into their engagement sessions.  With the help of
Love Caryn Photography, this sweet duo, Patricia + Josh, took to Stewart Beach in Galveston, Texas bright and early to take advantage of the perfect morning light.  With them, they brought
their beautiful twin girls and darling 7 month old baby boy for a timeless family affair.

Megan + Cullen: Texas Engagement

Sorry for today's delayed post, I've got a bit of a headache that made sure I slept in a little later than usual this morning...but no worries, I've got a ridiculous engagement session to share with you that will make up for my tardiness!  Texas photographer Kelsey Elizabeth sent over this beautiful engagement session that is filled with tons of natural light and a precious couple that I'm positive will make you swoon!  Kelsey selected an organic, woodsy landscape to really highlight Megan + Cullen's sweet laidback personality.   Megan has a sweet spot for books so they also made a trip to Denton Recycled Books Opera House.  But, the sweetest part was when Kelsey separated Megan + Cullen and asked them each to jot down what they loved most about the other.  Megan showed her card that said, “His Passion” and Cullen showed his that said, “She’s Mine.” So sweet!

Best of luck to Megan + Cullen who will wed next June at the Four Seasons in Dallas, Texas!
